President's Welcome

Welcome to NACAS West

I am excited to be the incoming NACAS West President and to have the opportunity to represent you as West members of NACAS.

As your West board, we will focus on making sure that our activities and goals are meeting the needs of the West region and the association.  The strategic direction of NACAS West aligns with the national office so in the coming year, your board will be reaching out to our members to assure that we are:

Providing professional development opportunities that are both introductory for our new members, innovative for our current members, and supportive of the CASP program.

Strategically helping to recruit and retain our membership so that we have a diverse set of auxiliary professionals that can share their expertise and insights in our field.

We will accomplish these goals through regular communication and use of new technologies such as virtual campus tours and a new monthly newsletter.  We have also created a West member information database.  You can participate by going to regions/nacas-west/presidents-welcome/west-membership-survey and completing a brief survey.

As we work through our goals for the coming year, please reach out to me (jcrea@lcsc.edu) or any of the board members to let us know of initiatives or directions you would like your West region to engage in.  If you have any projects or initiatives you would like featured in the monthly newsletter, please e-mail our Communications & Technology Coordinator (jrensel@asu.edu).  Your input and auxiliary services experience is valuable in making the West a vibrant organization and its membership meaningful.

Thank you for the opportunity to represent the West!
