The NACAS Senior Executive Institute (SEI) is designed for highly experienced auxiliary leaders who seek to optimize their performance and the performance of their team. SEI is an intensive learning experience incorporating small group seminars and group collaboration. During this time, executives will be networking with colleagues who are experiencing similar challenges and opportunities in the auxiliary services field. Strategy and resources for your key decisions

The Senior Executive Institute creates a space for senior-level auxiliary professionals to discuss industry trends, brainstorm strategies for addressing today’s challenges in higher education, and understand the power of departmental and business partnerships alike. Attendees will determine how to evolve a changing landscape through strategic decision making. Here is an overview of key learning objectives:

Participants will:

  • Hear from senior executives and business partners in the auxiliary services field.
  • Learn what challenges colleagues are facing and how to overcome them.
  • Apply skills learned during the Institute to their home campus and/or companies.
  • Understand global issues on college campuses and how the auxiliary services department can have a positive, campus-wide impact.

  • Addressing the rising cost of higher education
  • Collaborative leadership through breaking down silos
  • Innovation through key decision making and data
  • Inclusive leadership
  • Understanding the needs of today’s students
  • Trends in auxiliary services

Group Collaborations

In addition to the curriculum you will also be working in small groups. Each educational session presented by the SEI faculty will challenge you to think deeper and broader than you ever have before. Listening to these presentations presented by your colleagues will leave you with a different thought process and better develop your leadership ability in concert with fellow participants.

Refund Policy

If you must cancel your registration, please notify the National Office in writing ten (10) business days before the start of the program. A $100 processing fee will be deducted from your total registration refund. If cancellation occurs less than ten (10) days prior to the program, no refunds will be given. In place of a refund, the attendee may decide to transfer the registration to another individual from the institution, or for a $100 processing fee NACAS will rollover the attendee’s registration to the next year (a maximum of 2 rollovers). Checks or purchase orders should be made payable to NACAS. If NACAS must cancel the institute for any reason, a full refund of your registration fee will be made to you. NACAS will not reimburse registrants for non-refundable airline tickets.
