Business Partner National Committee

The Business Partner Committee assists in keeping auxiliary services relevant through collaborations on recruitment of new business partners, cultivating sponsorships and communicating with product trend experts to keep NACAS on point. Professional Development National Committee

Planning the success of tomorrow begins with fostering continued growth and development of young and seasoned professionals alike. On the Professional Development Committee, members collaborate, develop and coordinate a variety of educational opportunities ranging from webinars, online roundtable discussions, written media and on-demand services to support NACAS members across the country.

Technology National Committee

The Technology Committee services the NACAS community by developing efficient technological solutions for greater communication and progress. Have ideas on how to enhance the NACAS online experience? Then this committee is for you!

Volunteer for the 2016 Regional Conference in Burlington, Vermont!

Behind-the-scene tasks are critical to the execution of any event. Help us make the annual conference a seamless production by serving on the conference planning committee assisting with logistics, education, registration and more or at the conference by introducing speakers, setting signage, welcoming participants and communications.

 

"On the Road" Coordinator

Term: 2 years

The East Region’s “On the Road” program is entering its third year of one-day events hosted by universities and colleges within the East Region. The current program consists of four one-day events each year, with each event 4-5 hours in duration, focusing on one or more auxiliary enterprise within an institution and may include presentations, round table discussions and campus tours. The Coordinator solicits interest, generates marketing materials and assists campuses in the organization of their event. The annual budget for this program is $4,000.

Required Activity:

  • Solicit interest among colleagues within the NACAS East region. Recommend schools and programs to the East board of directors for final selection. Set program for 2015/16 and plan for the following year.
  • Work with the event host school to establish the date and program; assist with marketing efforts and to review whether and how financial support is provided.
  • Support marketing efforts between the institution and the NACAS professional staff
  • Monitor and track attendance by person and by institutional in order to measure the value of the program.
  • Coordinate with the NACAS Professional Development committee to ensure “On the Road” events complement other association offerings and do not present conflicting dates.
  • Review and update as needed the package of organizational materials provided to the host institution.
  • Report status of the program to East Board of Directors at their monthly meeting.
