Becoming CASP demonstrates specialized expertise as an Auxiliary Services leader – giving those that pass and their institutions the confidence to set sophisticated strategy, forge business partnerships, and make transformative decisions to benefit campus communities.
They run bookstores, card offices, and conference services. They are Directors of Auxiliary Services, Directors of Business Operations, and Associate Vice-Presidents. They are the non-academic support. The campus experts. Meet some of the first 100 people who didn’t just take CASP, they are CASP. Certified experts who are setting the industry standard, by breaking old barriers and creating new expectations.
Institutions everywhere are hiring CASPs and certifying current staff. Why? Because CASP builds confidence by instilling success in auxiliary services. Below are a list of the institutions where you can find our over 100 designees.
NACAS offers helpful information, tools, guides, and study groups to help exam takers prepare for testing day. Applicants are encouraged to access all preparatory resources to help master exam content areas, decrease test anxiety, and bond with other auxiliary professionals who are on the same path to certification.
Campus auxiliary service professionals who are eligible to sit for the CASP exam are encouraged to begin the application process well in advance of their preferred testing date, so they allow plenty of time to prepare.
As with most certification programs, recertification procedures are established to ensure designees are keeping up with changes and best practices in their profession and upholding the merit that is associated with their designation. Campus auxiliary service leaders who pass the certification exam are CASP for four years. To renew a CASP designation, certain recertification requirements must be met.
