On the Road

NACAS East…on the Road sessions are presented by auxiliary professionals near you. That’s where the “on the Road” comes in. Our goal is to have sessions throughout the region within a two- to three-hour drive. Convenient enough to bring another person from your institution, tour the facility or operation, grab some lunch, and then participate in a discussion concerning the area of interest, you can be back on your campus easily within the course of a work day.

Would you like to show off a recent renovation? How about that new food truck you just put into service? Have a great sustainability program? We would love for you to share whatever it is with your colleagues. We are seeking NACAS East…on the Road programs for 2017/2018. We need programs throughout the region so don’t hold back.

Watch for additional information on upcoming professional development opportunities at www.nacas.org

Please contact Stephen Barr (sbarr@vcu.edu), director of campus services, Virginia Commonwealth University, if you would like to schedule a program for your campus or if you have any questions.

Mereese Ladson Diversity Scholarship

The Ladson Diversity Scholarship was established in 2005 in honor of the late Mereese Ladson, Controller at Brooklyn College (CUNY). Ms. Ladson was a President and long-time leader of NACAS East and a great friend to the entire association. Ms. Ladson’s professionalism, commitment to inclusiveness for all, and leadership were sources of inspiration to our members. Visit the NACAS Education Foundation website to donate to the Mereese Ladson Fund or learn more about the scholarship.
